 Tuesday Night Time Trials 2005

Finally here are results to date for Tuesday! Big turn out June 2 but too many folks scared away by heat & wind both of which moderated in time for the race - check June 8 times!

Your racing secretary is back from S Pacific and will be working at White Swan most nights. Ken Jobba, Doug Taylor and Randy Brown have all taken their turns. Any volunteers for July & August? Also need a turn marshall.

June 14th Brant county decided to dump gravel 2' into paved road on either side effectively narrowing the paved road. Thunder rolled and rain and wind...only fit for posties! But look at the times!

July 12th an angry mob of unruly bike riders frog marched our President from Hwy 2 back to White Swan. Criminal charges are pending!

As at July 19th 44 riders have been on the course 33 of them full members. 

July 19th Mirek Mazur matched the White Swan course record held by Sean Scott with a time of 19:52. That was on a windy night! Mirek we expect you and Fred to go for the club record this year (held by Adrian Mezenberg 1994 19:27)! Aug 2nd Mirek is working on it - did a 19:51 (on Hwy 2)

July 26th back to Hwy 2. Rained all day - stopped at 6pm - One brave soul!

Aug 16th Best turnout - 19 riders. Seemed windy but died down and with clear air many personal bests were obtained. Heather Simpson was trying to beat her 29:00 bogey and actually did a 27:33! Vince DeJong did a 22:32

Aug 23rd Mirek Mazur beat his previous 19:51 with a 19:45. Two more nights to go Mirek! This was a TTC night.

Aug 30th Another rider joins the "teenys" - Garth Logan did a 19:58. This year we have had 48 riders out.

Sept 6th - Its all over for 2005. Fastest rider for 2005 again Mirek Mazur followed closely by fellow "teener" Garth Logan. . Sue Plamer joined us for the last ride & did a scorching 20:36
