Rider Achievements 2005Naomi Cermak's SeasonNaomi competed in the Fitchburg Longsjo Classic in July coming in 6th overall on G.C after 4 stages.She also did Ontario Crit Provincials where she placed 2nd in Cat 3. Club wise Naomi placed 2nd (ahead of all these guys!) in the Andy Keyes Century New RecordSue Palmer-Komar set a new 15km Women's TT record at 20:36 beating out her previous 20:47
Sue Palmer-Komar at Worlds 2005Sue placed 14th in a sprint finish of 126km RR and 19th in the 21.9km TT with a time of 31.1 2.28 off the winner. Sue was fastest Canadian woman. Club Riders at Provincial TTRob Cheskey was our only rider to take home a medal - silver in Masters C with a 55:37. However our younger riders did well with Mike Hruska taking 4th in Cadets with a 21:49, Jonathan Prosser capturing 7th in the Juniors with a 58:18. Matt Gallo did a 25:51 to take 17th in the Cadets and Rob Faulkner did 1:00:58 to take 20th in Masters A Amongst Club Associates we note Nada Pasko did a 58:41 riding Midweek for 5th Women and Doug Taylor riding for Brampton did a 1:00.35 for 6th Master C Misfortune appears to have struck Fred Pepper and Peter Farr neither finishing their respective categories. BMB 2005Ken Jobba completed the 1,200km Boston - Montreal - Boston Radonnee in 68 hours and 25 minutes. See full story. World Masters - Edmonton
